Major General Melchor P. Rosales, AFP (Ret.) led a distinguished public service career spanning 45 years. He diligently served 36 years with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and another 9 years as Administrator of the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) as well as the Undersecretary for Peace and Order of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) after his military service.
